Curating the world's first Nail Art exhibition that started a nail art revolution, Lanji has curated shows for East London's most notable bespoke designers and collaborated with the biggest fashion houses.

His exhibitions have been attended by the who's who in Fashion, Art and Culture and highlighted the boundless possibilities of looking at Art as Fashion and celebrating Fashion as Art.

CURATED EXHIBITIONS:

THE BEAUTY OF BEING BRITISH ASIAN, Brick Lane 2017

An exhibition curated by Ryan Lanji & Burnt Roti Magazine. The three-day exhibition showcased over nineteen British Asian artists and celebrated what it means to be both identities. The exhibition opened to a four-hour-long queue and received international press, the artists who participated in the event are now considered some of the most notable and revered creatives in East London.

CONSERVATION COUTURE - The Animal Ball, Victoria & Albert Museum, 2017

Raising awareness for large endangered animals, Lanji curated a two-week long exhibition in the Victoria and Albert Museum with over forty fashion houses. Each fashion house (including Mulberry, Swarovski, Chloe, Thierry Mugler & Jean Paul Gaultier) created a set of twenty masks which raised over 2.5 million pounds for the Animal Ball Charity.  He was in charge of the exhibition concept, design and produced the entire show from end to end.

ENAMOURED: 80 YEARS OF REVLON– The London Film Museum 2012

Entrusted with the history of the leading beauty brand. Lanji conceived, curated and produced a three-day exhibition looking deep into the world of Charles Revson and the beauty brand that started a multi-billion dollar industry.

NAILPHILIA – Vyner Street 2011

His first conceptual exhibition showcasing Nail Art as form of contemporary sculpture. The exhibition through word of mouth included Fashion photographer Nick Knight (SHOWstudio), photographer Rankin and included the most notable nail technicians behind Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Jessie J as well as fashion houses including Prada, Louis Vuitton and McQueen.
